The classic Greek bachelor/bachelorette itinerary
For groups of 8-16 people, this is the formula that works:
- Day 1 (arrive Athens): Land Athens, drop bags at hotel, dinner at a rooftop restaurant with Acropolis view, 2-3 bars in Gazi or Psyrri.
- Day 2 (Athens): Light morning (everyone slow). Acropolis at 4 PM (golden hour). Big group dinner. Late bar crawl Gazi or Psyrri.
- Day 3 (fly to Mykonos): Morning flight Athens → Mykonos (35 min, €60-150). Pool day at hotel, 8 PM dinner, midnight to Cavo Paradiso for the legendary nightclub.
- Day 4 (Mykonos): 1 PM at Nammos (lunch and champagne). 5 PM transition to Scorpios for sunset DJ. Late dinner. Late drinks.
- Day 5 (Mykonos yacht): 10 AM private yacht charter to Delos and Rhenia. Swimming, drinks, lunch on board. 5 PM back. Beach club. Late bar.
- Day 6 (depart): Slow morning, fly home from Mykonos.
Group sizes — what works
4-6 people: Hotel rooms work. 1-2 dinners with reservations needed. No special yacht/villa logistics required.
8-12 people: Sweet spot. Private villa makes more sense than separate hotel rooms. Yacht charter is well-priced. Beach club groups get attention.
14-20 people: Logistics get harder. Need bigger villa (€2,500-5,000/night peak). Multiple yacht charters or one bigger boat. Restaurant reservations require 3+ weeks notice. Worth a wedding-planner-level coordinator.
20+ people: Treat it like a destination wedding. Hire a coordinator. Block hotel rooms 6 months ahead. Plan logistics in writing.
The best Mykonos beach clubs for groups
Scorpios: The sunset destination. DJ from 4 PM, food, atmospheric, expensive. Reserve 2-4 weeks ahead. Minimum spend €200-400/person for a beachfront table.
Nammos: Long lunches, champagne, fashion crowd. Located on Psarou Beach. Most expensive minimums on Mykonos but most photographed. €300-500/person minimum.
Astra: Newer venue (opened 2022), cooler crowd, slightly less commercial. Good for groups wanting Mykonos energy without the most polished tourist scene.
Cavo Tagoo: The hotel's all-day pool party scene. Less "beach club" more "luxury hotel pool DJ." Great for groups staying at the hotel.
Kalua / Tropicana: Old-school Mykonos party energy. Cheaper than the new luxury venues. More raucous.
Yacht charter — the centerpiece day
Most successful Mykonos bachelor/bachelorette trips center around the yacht day. Charter a boat for 8 hours. Captain takes you to swim spots at Delos and Rhenia islands (the uninhabited ones near Mykonos). Crew makes lunch. You drink and swim and listen to music in turquoise water.
Pricing for 12-person yacht (peak July-August): €2,500-4,500 for the boat + €100-300/head for catering and drinks. Off-peak (June, September): €1,800-3,200 for the boat.
Why we save groups money
Group bookings are where OTAs (Viator, GetYourGuide, even bachelor-party packagers in the US/UK) charge the highest markups — often 30-40% above local rates. Our supplier network includes the actual yacht operators, beach clubs, and Mykonos villa owners, so we save groups €300-1,200 per person depending on package size.
