Bachelor & bachelorette parties in Greece.

The Greek answer to Vegas: Mykonos. Beach clubs, sunset DJs, yacht days, designer hotels, and a party scene that runs from May to October. Here's how to plan it without the Viator markup.

The classic Greek bachelor/bachelorette itinerary

For groups of 8-16 people, this is the formula that works:

Group sizes — what works

4-6 people: Hotel rooms work. 1-2 dinners with reservations needed. No special yacht/villa logistics required.

8-12 people: Sweet spot. Private villa makes more sense than separate hotel rooms. Yacht charter is well-priced. Beach club groups get attention.

14-20 people: Logistics get harder. Need bigger villa (€2,500-5,000/night peak). Multiple yacht charters or one bigger boat. Restaurant reservations require 3+ weeks notice. Worth a wedding-planner-level coordinator.

20+ people: Treat it like a destination wedding. Hire a coordinator. Block hotel rooms 6 months ahead. Plan logistics in writing.

The best Mykonos beach clubs for groups

Scorpios: The sunset destination. DJ from 4 PM, food, atmospheric, expensive. Reserve 2-4 weeks ahead. Minimum spend €200-400/person for a beachfront table.

Nammos: Long lunches, champagne, fashion crowd. Located on Psarou Beach. Most expensive minimums on Mykonos but most photographed. €300-500/person minimum.

Astra: Newer venue (opened 2022), cooler crowd, slightly less commercial. Good for groups wanting Mykonos energy without the most polished tourist scene.

Cavo Tagoo: The hotel's all-day pool party scene. Less "beach club" more "luxury hotel pool DJ." Great for groups staying at the hotel.

Kalua / Tropicana: Old-school Mykonos party energy. Cheaper than the new luxury venues. More raucous.

Yacht charter — the centerpiece day

Most successful Mykonos bachelor/bachelorette trips center around the yacht day. Charter a boat for 8 hours. Captain takes you to swim spots at Delos and Rhenia islands (the uninhabited ones near Mykonos). Crew makes lunch. You drink and swim and listen to music in turquoise water.

Pricing for 12-person yacht (peak July-August): €2,500-4,500 for the boat + €100-300/head for catering and drinks. Off-peak (June, September): €1,800-3,200 for the boat.

Why we save groups money

Group bookings are where OTAs (Viator, GetYourGuide, even bachelor-party packagers in the US/UK) charge the highest markups — often 30-40% above local rates. Our supplier network includes the actual yacht operators, beach clubs, and Mykonos villa owners, so we save groups €300-1,200 per person depending on package size.

Group party FAQs.

Where in Greece should I plan my bachelor or bachelorette party?+

For party-focused: Mykonos. For mixed energy (sightseeing + nightlife): Athens + a Mykonos extension. For laid-back: Paros or Naxos. The default answer for most groups is Mykonos for 4-5 nights — that's where the beach clubs, nightclubs, and energy concentrate.

How much does a bachelor party in Mykonos cost per person?+

Mid-range: €1,500-2,500 per person for 4 nights (hotel sharing, flights from Europe, food, beach club entries, drinks). Luxury: €3,500-7,000+ per person (private villa, yacht charter, VIP beach clubs, bottle service). Budget option: €900-1,400 per person if booking shoulder season (May or September) and sharing rooms.

Should I rent a private villa or stay in a hotel?+

For groups of 8+, private villa often makes sense — you get a private pool, dinner space for the group, and more cost-efficient per-head than 4-5 separate hotel rooms. A 6-bedroom Mykonos villa runs €1,500-4,500/night in peak season. Split 12 ways: €125-375/person/night vs €350-450/person/night for individual hotel rooms.

Can I book a yacht for the group day?+

Yes — yacht charter is the classic Mykonos bachelor/bachelorette move. Day charter (8 hours, 12 people) runs €2,500-4,500 in peak season. Includes captain, crew, swim stops at Delos and Rhenia islands. Adds €100-300/head for catering and drinks. We can arrange via our supplier network.

What's the best Mykonos beach club for a bachelor/bachelorette group?+

Scorpios (sunset DJ scene), Nammos (lunch + champagne, fashion crowd), Cavo Tagoo (hotel pool with all-day party), Astra (newer, cooler), Kalua (traditional Mykonos party energy). Reservations essential — 2-4 weeks ahead in peak. Group rates negotiable for 8+. Beach club minimums: €100-300/person depending on day and venue.

Is Mykonos LGBTQ+ friendly for bachelor/bachelorette weekends?+

Yes, dramatically. Mykonos has been a major gay-tourism destination since the 1980s. Specific LGBTQ+ venues: Jackie O Beach (gay beach club), Lola (gay bar in Mykonos Town), Babylon (legendary gay venue). Mixed-sexuality bachelor/bachelorette parties are completely standard — Mykonos is one of the most genuinely inclusive party islands in the world.

How early should I book a Greek bachelor/bachelorette party?+

4-6 months ahead for peak summer (June-August). 2-3 months for shoulder season (May, September). The popular hotels and yacht charters book up fast. Beach club tables for big groups need 2-4 weeks notice. Last-minute bookings possible but limit your venue choices.

Should we do Athens before Mykonos?+

If you have 5+ nights, yes — 1-2 nights Athens + 4 nights Mykonos. Athens gives the cultural daytime activities, Mykonos the night party. Athens nightlife is also strong (Gazi neighborhood especially) so a 1-night Athens stop can be a great pre-island warmup.

Can you arrange transportation between airport, hotel, beach clubs?+

Yes — for groups, private mini-bus charter for the trip is the move. Mykonos taxis are limited and surge at peak times. A dedicated mini-bus + driver for 4 days runs €1,200-2,000 for the group. Removes coordination headaches. We arrange via our Greek supplier network.

What's the bachelor/bachelorette etiquette in Mykonos?+

No nudity in restaurants/streets (this surprises people). No 'bro' costumes that mock locals (Greeks have a strong sense of dignity about their island). Generally: have fun, tip generously, don't get too drunk before reaching the beach club, respect the photo policies of beach clubs. Mykonos is welcoming to party groups but expects basic decency.
