When KeyTours is the right choice

To be fair: there are scenarios where KeyTours is genuinely the better option:

Last-minute booking (24-48 hours): KeyTours's larger fleet means more available departures. We sometimes don't have last-minute slots that they do.
Specific guides: If you've researched a specific KeyTours guide and want to book that exact person, book direct.
Already booked everything else through them: If you've used KeyTours for hotels and transfers and want one-bill simplicity, sticking with them is reasonable.
Niche specialty tours: KeyTours has a few specialty tours we don't currently offer (some northern Greece deep-cultural tours). For those, book direct with KeyTours.

How are Trips From Athens prices different from KeyTours?+

We typically run 15-30% cheaper than KeyTours on equivalent tours. KeyTours has higher overhead (bigger company, more marketing spend, more layers of management) which adds €15-30 per tour above the actual supplier cost. Our model is leaner — direct supplier relationships, smaller team, lower overhead — so we pass the savings on.

Why do KeyTours and other big operators charge more?+

Three reasons: (1) Larger company structure with more salaries, offices, marketing budgets. (2) Significant Google Ads spending — KeyTours pays €5-15 per click on competitive Greek tour keywords, which adds to their cost per booking.
